We do not take short cuts in providing sub-standard equipment. We use only the most trusted and high-end sound and lighting equipment available on the market. Each year we sell off gear to ensure we stay with the times and technology, and that our gear continues to work at each and every job we undertake. We also invest in new equipment each year ranging from R500,000 to R1,000,000 in order to take on more bookings and service our clients' every need.
All Dj's who are contracted to Durban Dj's have a minimum of four year's experience in their relevant field of music. Our Dj's constantly update their music and watch trends in the music industry to ensure they are well-prepared to play your latest hit or even that golden oldie song that you have not heard in ages!
Any Dj wishing to work for us undergoes a thorough test to ensure he or she has the adequate technical experience and is familiar with how we set our systems up to ensure uniformity. Music knowledge and reading of a crowd is of the upmost importance to us. All Dj's are tested in this regard and generally undergo a 3 month trial basis whereby they accompany one of our more experienced Dj’s where they will play for short periods of the night and across all genres before we sign-off and allow them handle an event or wedding on their own.
Liability Insurance
Durban Dj's carries Full Liability cover in the unfortunate event of someone being injured by equipment falling on them. Furthermore the cover also protects us and you ,should the function room burn to the ground due to faulty equipment causing an electrical fire. We also adhere to the Engineering Board for any structures which we put up and the Electrical Board of Contractors when using three phase power. Certification is provided for each event in order to comply with the National Health and Safety Act.
